CASA – BARRANCO

CASA – BARRANCO begins by recognising the existing character of the house and its relationship with one of Lima's most distinctive neighbourhoods. The renovation does not erase its history; it carries it forward through a contemporary intervention sensitive to its setting.

The design reorganises the social spaces and strengthens the connection between the interior and the courtyard. The pool, orange tree and gathering areas become a new heart for the house while preserving an intimate, domestic scale.

A warm palette of earth tones, pale stone, timber and planting connects the new spaces with the home's existing identity. The result brings renewed comfort and function without losing the memory of place.
